Consumer negative film: colour separation with a heavy shadow.

Classic Negative is modelled on Superia-style consumer film. Instead of muting colour evenly, it shifts hues against each other — teal shadows, warm midtones — and holds a firm contrast curve. Recipes on this base tend to need very little further tuning.
